I'm not into genres.
I like bands like Sebadoh, The Music Tapes, B-Side, Adam Green, The Pixies, Eugenius, Guided By Voices, Local H, The Microphones/Mt. Eerie, Neutral Milk Hotel, Murdocks, Residents, Boredoms, Beulah, The Unicorns, The Olivia Tremor Control, and much much much else.
They're all kind of beyond genres.

lol. Anyway, I voted Hip-hop/rap. 
um... i guess from that list i'd go w/ blues and folk, which i do listen to quite often. but other than that, the genres listed above by and large suck. although there are exceptions. but my fave music tends to be experimental (how are dance and electronica associated w/ that when they are nowhere near being experimental as a whole). mostly i listen to acid rock, some prog and jazz (stuff like miles, trane, ornette coleman, john mclaughline, etc).
