No proper confirmation has yet been made, but there are numerous rumours floating around the web that Europe finally has a release date for Brawl. The rumours state that the game is due for release on June 6th. Could this just be another wind-up?
Well, can anybody remember when the
UK's Official Nintendo website published an E.U release date for Brawl, but then later claimed it was a mistake? They reported the release date as June 1st but later said that it wasn't true. It's not like Nintendo to make a mistake like that though is it? Looking at both dates, there is only a matter of five days between them. So this could mean that, even though neither dates have been confirmed, Brawl has a strong chance of being released around this time.
As the original source is in German, I cannot translate what it says. But a member of GoNintendo commented on the story stating that it is not a rumour because the date has been confirmed by Nintendo France. Until we know for sure if the date is official, it looks like we will have to wait and find out; which I'm sure we are all used to by now.
I think it is pathetic that PAL gamers still have no release date for Brawl. We deserve one by now. Either way, I'm not getting my hopes up over this one. I'll wait for a date confirmed by Nintendo. However, I am
so tired of waiting. Let's just hope that this is Brawl's release date for Europe, if not any sooner.

GAME's internal word is that it's out may 1st
I personally wouldn't rely on GAME's release date for the game, but still there is always a possibility that it is true. Hopefully June will be the latest time it will be released. I don't know if I could wait any longer.

I would expect a December 09 release.

I'd agree there. I mean, I can wait, but that's only b/c I know that games like Brawl do actually have some notion of a release date. If I lived in Europe or Australia, forget about it. I'd just get too frustrated waiting. I dunno how y'all in Europe and Australia can stand it. I'd be pulling my hair out by now waitin for Brawl. x.x'
That's why all of us who are hardcore about not waiting for these games are importing.
