Ok so about a month ago i had a short power outage in my area and it caused my Wii's power cord to fry so i bought a new one and it worked fine. About a week after using it my Wii became really loud, i am thinking it has something to do with the fan. But it is still very loud and was thinking about trying to open it up but i am afraid i might ruin something. Could someone help me out?
Your best bet would be to contact Nintendo first. Since you live in America, then you will be able to easily e-mail them or something. If this were to happen to me, I'd have to call or snail mail them.

I wouldn't mess with it,I would just call Nintendo and tell them what happened. I'm sure then you could place an order with them to fix it.
Nintendo DOES have excellent customer service--I'd contact them
