The word "disappointment" is quite a familiar feeling amongst PAL gamers. We usually suffer from a constant bombardment of delays, and a few more delays after that. Over time the majority of the PAL gamers have learned to live with the harsh release dates, which are usually set months after the NTSC regions. Despite the start of this report being quite negative, the good news is soon to come.
Ready? Mario Kart Wii is confirmed to be releasing across Europe on April 11th, 2009. Wait, 2009? What I meant to say is April 11th 2008. So you can stop running around the room flailing your arms, while cursing at Nintendo for another outrageous release date. While a North American date for Mario Kart Wii has not been set, Europeans get it just one day after Japan. This is quite a refreshing feeling that many of us don't experience when talking about Nintendo products. All we can do now is hope that Nintendo make a trend of this.

Wow! Awesome article Billy! I especially love the slyness
And even awesomer news!
Great for Europe, but I hope now that the U.S doesn't need to wait much longer.
Wow, I think you just gave some Euro's some heart attacks by saying 2009 by "mistake"
But wow, thats a really good release date for them, but I bet us Americans won't get Mario Kart till maybe June or July.
(I will not be taking responsibility for any heart attacks that take place during the reading of this article)
-=Removed...thought it was same subject but they were infect talking about different announcements=-

Like I said, there might be a delay and even giving us a chocolate bar with this game won't get rid of the hate.
Quite frankly the Epic press conference blows this news away.
Even though I'm still bummed about the waiting for Brawl, this just about makes up for it! In fact, I'm
extremely happy about this date. I hope it doesn't get delayed. I'm very happy with this date and thank you to Nintendo for giving us European gamers a game before everyone else but Japan for once.

This in no way makes up for Brawl.
Since I bought a Wii for Brawl.
*imports NTSC Brawl with MKWii money*
Feck you, Nintendo.

*cheers waving arms in air*
Question is now, do I bother purchasing Kart and face against snakers 24/7 or do I save up and buy a Games Console?
Snakers in Brawl? I think you have the two mixed up.

Wow, you can snake in Brawl?
Gee guys, kick me in the nuts for typos D=
Lol. Its what we do. Anyway, since snaking is now endorsed by Nintendo I suppose its not too bad xD

I hate the dreadful snaking and it may well put me off this game.
After playing Double Dash today, without snaking. I enjoyed it much more, snaking just annoys...
You'll have to learn to deal.
Doing what it takes to win = ftw.
EDIT: A day earlier later than Japan? Sorry, but that does not make up for the SSBB delay or the years of crappy treatment by Nintendo.
A day later than Japan. But yeah, there's no way it makes up for it.
