After the exciting news of The Legend of Zelda being hacked to allow for the running of unsigned code, ideas begun to flare for Wii homebrew games and applications. This week marks the first venture into the world of homemade games, as a coder has officially been able to get a full game of Tetris running off an ELF Loader on his SD Card!
There's not much more to say on the subject other than this is very exciting news for underground developers with a creative streak to really work their imaginations onto a blank canvas. Below is a video of the said homebrew running on an unmodified Wii console, through the "Twilight Hack" and an ELF Loader on a standard SD memory card.
Haha, I've just started playing that. I bought The Orange Box last week and so far am loving it. It's very like a movie isn't it? And D4rk... *points*
"Below is a video" and you moved it up... Trying to make me look bad, eh?
