One of my favorite genre of book is travel writing (The likes of Tony Hawks, Bill Bryson). I was just wondering if anyone else on the forums enjoys this type of book.

Two I've just read are:
Jesus Weed by Gerald Taylor
and
Round Ireland with a fridge by Tony Hawks*

Both were really amusing and good to read. I'd say more, but I'm not in the mood for a review atm ^_^

*Not the skateboarder...
Yeah I've never read anything like that... I did like the Catcher in the Rye though. =D
catcher in the rye is kick butt, but no i've never read any of those "travel writings" before. i'll have to check them out.
The Motorcycle Diaries by Che Guevara is cool. That the kinda writing you're talking about?

Yeah it's cool. Che Guevara, part of the Cuban Communist Revolution, writes about the cool things he sees as he rides his motorcycle all around Latin America. If you don't know who Che is you might recognize him if you do a google image search for "che".
