Things to keep in mind

I recommend you create an account on your PS3 specifically for trading if you don't want to use your main account.

Also, don't forget that if you delete the account you received/downloaded the game with the game will also be deleted.

You should only trade games with people you trust or find reliable.

Don't forget that a game can be downloaded only five times. You are downloading it once and the friend you share it with is a second, which leaves you three more downloads. I recommend not sharing a game with more than 3 other people. You should keep one download open just in case you ever reformat your HDD or upgrade to a larger HDD.

Update! The first trade has been sucessful! See the post below for the details. Also, just wanted to let everyone know that the 5 download rule may be worded wrong. It may actually mean that the game can be active on 5 machines but can be downloaded on each machine for an unlimited amount of times as long as that account is activated. I'll update this part when I get a definite answer.

Additional Info:

I've reserved this area for updates and to keep track of who has traded successfully and/or is looking to trade to make it easy to find without having to browse the thread. You can PM me or reply to this thread if you would like to trade a specific game or are looking for a specific game and I'll add it here.
I want PixelJunk Monsters, I just downloaded the demo last night Smile
Yeah, it's pretty sweet. I was surprised by how good it was and it looks especially good if you play it on your HD TV! I guess since no one else is jumping on the trade bandwagon just yet I'll go ahead and let you get it without trading to see how it works. I haven't setup a separate account yet so I'll have to change the password on my normal account and I'll PM you the details so you can download it. It's after midnight here so I'll do it first thing in the morning before I go to work.
Thank you Mana Smile I don't own any PSN games yet, but when I do I'll be happy to share them with you also.
GFT, check your inbox. I think I know what the problem was. Give it another shot with the directions I PMed to ya. Good luck! Big Grin
I really like PixelJunk Monsters but I find myself trying to get a perfect score everytime and it gets frustrating Smile
Yeah, when you try for all rainbows it could drive you insane. I hate feeling the vibration when a monster gets through and hits the house.

blah blah blah we don't have dual shock over here yet Smile

Really? I thought it was out there? I picked up 3 because I like rumble and I like that it's heavier. I find the six-axis that comes with the PS3 too light. So did you get all the rainbow? Toungue
I did in one of the areas I was having an issue with, but the one easy area where they go up the one path disappear and do a U turn into the other area...I always loose 1.
Take a break from it and then come back to it. I find that when I'm stuck on a game I just take a break and normally when I come back I can pass without difficulty. I remember playing GH III on medium with the controller and Slash owned me in the battle about 10 times in a row. I quit for the day and the next day I beat him easily on the first try. Sometimes you're in a "bad gaming funk" and need a break to shake it off. I'm sure you'll get it. I think tomorrow I'll be picking up one more of the cards, which will allow me to get another game to share. I'm not sure which one right now.

On another note a friend of mine who owns a game shop that I had interviewed for WiiLoaded told me something very interesting. I'm not sure exactly how it works but he said if I bring my PS3 to his shop I can buy (pay him with cash) the games from the Hong Kong PSN store and he can install them directly onto my PS3. Now I'm not sure exactly how that works or if those games could even be shared but I'll let you know. I'm having doubts about those games being shared though. I'm thinking he bought them perhaps and will share them with others for a fee but I don't see how he can do that if there is a limit. Maybe he knows something I don't. I'll drop in tomorrow to ask him how it works and let you know.
Update on possible new games that I can share soon. I just saw on a Thai website a game shop that is supposedly selling cards (5,000 yen) for the Japan PSN stores. They seem to have the best stuff available so I'm definitely going to check this out. I'll have to create another account for the Japan store to see what all they have, if it's possible to play the games in English, and a couple of other things and I'll reply back later when I know more.
