:O That's bad. If Nintendo want us to pay to play online then they need to make some serious improvements to the online service.

I was about to write about this, then deleted my whole article by accident. >.<

Honestly...
If at some point I could pay a one-time fee to be able to play UNtimed STOCK matches with Brawl Wi-Fi, I would.
I don't see this being a terrible development, unless all the free Wi-Fi features are just terrible and you have to pay for decent functionality.

I wonder if this is an effort to appease online rpg's? Could we be seeing games like WoW or real time strategy games coming soon?
If it doesn't affect my simple sport, fighting, puzzle and shooting games, I'm not too worried about it. If it's to unlock a better service, again I'm not all that worried about it so long as they include all game modes online for free as well.

Not unless there are hardly any games with online at all anyways, PSN better not have a fee comeing up as well, or else I giess that means I can't play online.

As long as brawl is free then im good. But still im gonna grab a bunch of Molding clay maybe about 1000 pounds worth, take it to Nintendo of Japan and sculpt a humoungous middle finger, and maybe light it on fire. Thats right a Super Huge Flaming middle finger.......im gonna need sum help so anybody care to join me? Maybe then they will get the idea that we dont wanna pay for online that was supposed to be free.

Downloadable content has also been announced so we'll see how that pans with this.

We should do some math here. When the Wii was launched Nintendo was making about $50 off of every system. Now that the Wii has been out for a while, they have to be making much more off of the system, and yet they won't drop the price. So why in God's name should a Wii owner pay one damn cent for a special online service when Nintendo is making money hand over fist?
One other question. How many AAA titles will use this or will it be a bunch of dud games?
How many more times can Nintendo F*CK over the consumer before people start getting wise and stop with the whole starry-eyed thing?

I will wait to see before I complain anymore..

So basically they're saying that some games (marked with a different wifi sticker) you will have to pay to play online rite?

This service could be great. It could be Nintendo's verison of Live. Quit complaining about stuff you have no idea about. What will it cost? How much will it cost? What does it have to offer. None of you know and yet you're already shooting it down without giving it the slightest chance.
