As far as tennis games on Wii have been concerned up until now Wii owners have had to settle for the simple yet very entertaining Wii Sports take on the sport. Sure there was Table Tennis, and Sega is bringing Superstars Tennis to the console, but now Wii will be getting a true tennis experience in the form of Top Spin 3 from 2K.

Although the game was originally announced for the PS3 and Xbox 360 late last year and it is unknown how the Wii version will be different from the other two. The 2K press release did not mention if Wii specific motion controls would be included however it would be silly of 2K not to take advantage of them. It was also not made known if online play would be available in the Wii version, something which Table Tennis, and Sega Superstar Tennis are lacking.
