This is a console war between three companies, Sony, Microsoft, and Nintendo. As for gamers, they should be happy that they have choices and there's actually competition because they bring better games to the market.
A lot of people are wondering why this poll is so lop-sided...well when a member creates a garbage poll like this which he/she intends to get a particular response, a lot of people probably don't take it serious. Just like the other one that was created on this site by the same member who wanted to know what's the most important feature in a game.
All of this is due to the information presented in the thread "American sales chart, Feb 16-23: Devil Must be Smiling" where as a lot of people are upset that the Wii didn't outsell all the other system in North America. Well for those who are really pissed about this...grow up and enjoy the system you have. If you love your system half as much as you claim, then the sales figures won't mean a damn thing, because they will in no way affect your "love" for your system.
Also - Yes, something is wrong with that poll. No way 89 people voted on it without it being organized.
I've got to agree. Guests or not those are WAY too many votes.
It's at 95 and that's just ridiculous. Who's spamming this thing?

I'm pretty sure that this thread was just intended to see what systems people have and nothing more.
Don't listen to reviews. Just go out and play the game yourself, then you see how it is. Everyone has different tastes.
Ok, I'm not the one who needs to hear that. I'm the one who spent 100 previous comments telling people the same thing.
I understand what your saying, but if by chance you go to a site like
http://www.metacritic.com and the majority of reviews say a game is poor, then it probably is.
Wrong. Very wrong.
It only deserved a 76. It was a hardly a game you play for hours a day. 76 isn't bad, it's average, which is what Wii Sports is.
That is an average, but no, it's not a game to play for hours a day. Yet reviewers reviewed it as it was. It is a game for small stints with friends, and should have been reviewed on the basis of how it accomplished that.

Yeah, thanks gft77, don't call this a "garbage poll". If you don't like it, don't post in it. I was NOT looking for a particular response on the poll. I actually wanted to see how many people signed in to a site called Wiiloaded actually had a Wii/was some sort of Nintendo fan, because I have been seeing many comments on how bad the Wii is, by long time members. (And just to let you know, I'm a guy.)
And for the record, just type in my name. Don't try to cover it up.
And don't get angry about people arguing for their system. If you're not willing to fight for what you believe in, then there is no point in believing in it.

Your totally right, so when you want to argue the merits of war, religion, or politics then that will be cool. The idea that I should fight with anyone over what video game system I choose to own because I should "believe in it" is a bit too casual for the world I live in.
For the record, I have played Wii Play for multiple hours...tanks are addicting as all hell
But yeah, it is a video game console, not a damn child. Love what you got bbut don't treat as something more than it is. It is a piece of machinery that emits graphics and uses you as the gameplay articulator. It is as simple as that...
Microsoft, Sony or Nintendo would not take a bullet for you, so why go through all the trouble defending them?
One thing I'd like to point out though, Wii Sports did only get 76, which is ridiculous, but that is because the reviewers were reviewing the game as a full, $50 game, not as the intro game that it is supposed to be. Which is a great trick for biased magazines like Game Informer to capitalize on.
yeah you are right
its fully worth 50 bucks to
i'd buy it twice before buying some FPS crap
plus it was up for game of the year, which aint average

Wii Sports is a great game. I used to play it all the time. But you gotta admit, it does become tiresome. But it has been out for a year so that's probably why. Wii Sports online play would be great.

Amen to that. I could care less about the companies and any of their products. I just enjoy playing the games and don't see any need for anyone to try and defend anything either of the companies does.

The only people who can spam it are mass groups from external sites... or staff members ¬_¬

So don't post in this thread if that's what you think.
I thought the thread was to post what consoles we own,
not what companies we've sold our souls to.
Seriously though, why should anyone care what some 12-year-old (with his/her infinite wisdom) thinks about their console? Let alone when its via the internet.
You post/blog to let people know about your opinions, (that's it) not try to convert them to your view of thinking like some pushy jehovah witness.
(No disrespect to jehovah witnesses, but its a common image in today's society)
I mean, will it make you that much happier if there's one more person in the world who loves the Wii/PS3/360 as much as you do? If you like the console that should be good enough for you, how much other people like the console shouldn't effect how much you like it right? (Jeeze, I sound like some self-esteem psychologist)
That said, all the consoles suck.
Stick with PC, We're getting Fallout 3 soon.
Very good point Rawrmander. It's a little crazy to beat a drum and expect everyone to agree with your opinion of a system and if they don't then it's like blasphemy.
Why are people still crying?
I have a Wii and a 360, soon to be PS3 I guess. I'm still deciding whether or not I could actually benefit from having a PS3 and if those benefits are things I need. The only thing even remotely drawing me towards purchasing a PS3 is FFXIII. It's nice to know that if I do however get one, there are bundles I can choose from so I won't just have a system and one game.
cant imagine spending that much time and $$$ on all three systems and the games to go with them
but i aint hardcore
but i aint hardcore
Fair point, but neither am I. In fact, I rarely play games at all, but I still want a PlayStation. I don't like the fact that Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3 are viewed as "hardcore consoles". Fair enough that they have much more of these games per average, but I still like other fun features and games of PlayStation, like Home and Fight Night, Metal Gear Solid, Killzone 2 etc.
Anyone agree with my points?

I'm about ready to complete Ratchet and Clank Future: Tools of Destruction, and I can't believe how polished this game is. The areas are amazing, the weapons are cool, and there's lots of varity. I haven't played a game like this in quite a while that's so much fun, and with 12+ hours and more to find everyone, it's perfect for the person who wants something that can be challenging, but not "screw this it's too hard so I'm turning it off".
Anyone who doesn't want a "hardcore" FPS or RPG should check this out.
I love Rachet and Clank, one of the main reasons I want a PS3. Along with MGS4.
There are so many weapons, and it's so polished. This is the game for people who want to just have fun, and don't want to worry about dying every minute.
