Calling all Resident Evil fans! It has been revealed in the latest issue of a Japanese publication that Resident Evil Zero will be making its way to Wii. It is not clear how long the game has been in development for Wii, but
here are some images of the game. Sure this is just a port, but it's exciting to see Capcom give everyone the chance to play this classic Resident Evil game on Nintendo's little white box.
So with Umbrella Chronicles, Resident Evil 4 and now Resident Evil Zero. How long will it be until we see more? Surely Capcom will port Resident Evil 1,2 and 3. Who plans on buying these ports if they are release? If so, which ones?

I hope they do bring the other Resident Evil game to the Wii. That would be really cool. I'd buy them even though they are ports cause I've never played them before. Hopefully the Wii has the superior versions just like it did with RE4.
Maybe if they add some extra stuff to it in order to sway people who've already bought it. Maybe they'll change the camera angle to RE4 style. That would be super awesome!

yeah RE5 on the Wii would be spectacular, but im sure its not going to happen,although I think id be a good move on capcoms part due to how well the resident evil's are selling on the wii.
They could just come out with a RE Trilogy disk with remakes of the first 3 and that would be pretty nice for people who never had the chance to play them before.
Lots of people angry with Capcom's move to rehash another Resident Evil game on the Wii. Well, you can cool your jets, you furious legion, because Capcom say the "new" Resident Evil 0 is destined only for Japan. If you're outside of Japan and still interested, you can do what nobody did last time the game came around and just grab the GameCube version.

I have to agree with you on this one. A while back there was a list of like the top 10 gamecube games on this site and Resident Evil 0 was put on there, and I thought that was odd even then. The game looked great on the Gamecube, but that was about it. No loss for Anyone outside of Japan.

I thought it was good. Pre-rend graphics were amazing.
Those comments were no offense to you Cosmic, I just think in the over-all RE Universe, there are better games. To each their own.
Eh, they need to revamp the controls before I even consider playing this game, as well as remove the stationary cam. The first RE was great, until I actually played it. lol I can't play RE games outside of RE4... at least not for long. I'm not a RE purist though..
I can handle REmake, but RE0 just didn't interest me. I couldn't be bothered playing through it... only found out its full story by forcing myself to play through RE:UC (UGH MEDIOCRITY!) otherwise I didn't feel compelled to play it.
Best RE comes down to RE2 or 3 for me. RE4 is okay.

Unfortunately true. So far we've had Resident Evil, Resident Evil: Director's Cut, Resident Evil remake, Resident Evil: Deadly Silence... and that's nothing compared to all the different versions of Street Fighter II. It's like they're afraid to make new games.
What can we say? Capcom know where to get their money. Its no worse than Nintendo's casual crap.
