Notes:
- Lotsa Guitar Heroes: PS2 version hits 3 million, 360 version hits 2 million, over 7 million served overall.
- Dragon Quest Swords has a ridiculously long subtitle.
- Hint: expect huge Wii numbers next week...

*Wii debuts:
- Dragon Quest Swords: The Masked Queen and the Tower of Mirrors - 31,042 (#19)
- MX vs ATV Unleashed - 12,030 (#62)
- Pimp My Ride - 4,493 (#148)
lol pimp my ride. I dont even see how it managed to sell that many. but wow.. its weird seeing PS3 selling so many consoles. and whats up with the Wii.. only 78k this month? maybe they got the PS3/Wii sales numbers mixed around
Wii play is still high up there....

im impressed.
Well, wiiplay costs the same amount as a wiimote, why not get a free disk to throw around with it?
I'm having a sneaky suspicion that Nintendo is holding back on delivering Wiis to stores and they'll flood the market with them when Brawl is released. The Wii should jump back to the top when it is released as I doubt it will stay down for too long. I'm glad to see the PS3 has continued to sell more since last week and you really have to look at blu ray winning the war as one of the top reasons. I won't comment on Wii Play still being on the charts...
Whatever it is they'd want to get on it. This is two weeks where they've came last out of this gen's console list.

SSBB comes out on March 9 right? I'm sure the game will sell amazing, but here's a question. Don't you think the real Nintendo fans who will be picking up SSBB have already bought a Wii? I can't imagine they'd wait this long to grab a system for just that game. Plus, for those who might wanna buy the game who don't have a system...even if Nintendo is holding some stock back, that might be what 15 systems per store? Not that many if you look at the overall picture.

you know i don't think the PS3's sales numbers should be included in that list, only the hardcore sony fans are buying if for games, most of the new sales are only becasue it's a cheep blueray player.

but it won't bite sony on the butt, if only a small number actually buy there games, becasue they'll get revinue from all bluerays sold.
and we still cant find a wii on a shelf anywhere, come on production

maybe start working a second shift, nintendo

I'm wondering as well. I still say Nintendo is holding back and are gonna flood the market next week. We'll have to wait and see. If they don't flood the market then you have to wonder where are all the Wiis? It just doesn't make sense why they are so hard to find when Nintendo is producing them as they claim they are.

That comment is just plain stupid. You might as well be saying that Wii numbers shouldn't be counted because alot of grannies buy it. Or the 360 sales shouldn't count because it's too hardcore.

hey i'm even concidering buying a ps3 as a blue ray player, but i find myself holding off as im a gamer at heart and am still waiting for a killer app.
Metal Gear Solid 4.
yes your name would suggest you would think that Wink
i was thinking about little big planet, or even anything that will be good to play and won't suffer from hype.
Referring to my name makes no sense, ask anyone who owns a PS3. They are all excited for MGS4. It is a system seller. Oh and since when is it good games suffer from hype? You buy a game because it is going to be awesome, not because it has lots of hype or no hype.
Apparently a number of stores were stockpiling Wiis and unloaded them in huge numbers this past Sunday (think like ~150k). Don't be surprised if Wii numbers are in excess of 200k next week.

Where d'you get that from?

Well I know this past Sunday Target had a bunch because my cousin called and one Target had 50 in stock and managed to get one of the remaining 2 when she arrived. I think Circuit City may have some Sunday, the sunday paper will tell.
there arent any around here, when they come in they go instantly,

still plenty of classic controllers though Smile
Damn. No More Heroes fell out of the top 50 after it looked like it had some good legs going for it. Sad
Buy it people. For the sake of hardcore Wii games everywhere.
