WiiWare is ever approaching with the release date is May 12th and as anticipation grows so does infomation. In the past few weeks several new companies and games have been announced such as Major league eating, Defend your castle and Square Enix saying they will offer more towards Nintendo.

One title that we have known of for a long time is Final Fantasy: Crystal Chronicles: My life as a king. The game surrounds a young child king and his empire which you build. Of cause being part of the FF franchise people would expect a lot from this title and it looks like it'll offer.

Square have confirmed the title will launch on may 12th with the service and will cost 1500 wii points. Awesome! ...Wait...did he just say 1500? As in 15$ USD human money? That's right. FF:CC:MLAAF will be a whole 1500 wii points which is more than anything we have seen on the VC. The current most expensive is sin and punishment which is a ported on rails shooter for the N64.

With such a high price tag the title better give us the promised bang for buck.

Aww updating on my WiiWare repor I'm still on the fence about this building sim/rpg though.

Anyone who complains about 1500 Wii Points for essentially a full game by SquareEnix is a sook.

It's just that the rumours of a 500 wii points settled into every ones mind then an extra 1000 is put in.


Hope it's worth it.

I actually heard a while back that it would be 1500 Wii Points, but it wasn't fully confirmed back then. The game looks interesting but LostWinds has my attention more.

Thinking we'd pay a mere 500 Wii points for this is wishful thinking sadly.

yea i definitely knew we wouldnt be playing $5 for these games. i was thinking $10-15. sounds good to me

When you you say "these" it makes me think you're talking about WiiWare games as a whole, which isn't the case because Defend Your Castle will only be sold for 500 Wii Points.

Defend you Castle is a flash game. Of course it'll only be 5$. But I think that other games like this that have actually been made from the ground up for WiiWare will probably cost 10-15$.
