Well srry to break it to yah but...

!
will if its on warranty he shouldnt need to buy 1 because he aint the one that broke it the wii is screwing up on its own he can get a whole new one if he wants just gotta have the box still though.
That happens to my Wii with some games sometimes too. I was gonna call Nintendo to get it fixed but was too lazy.

Did you tap if lightly on the side of it to see if it would stop?
I've had a couple of games where it gets louder when playing such as Fire Emblem but many people have said that the last update changed something to make them run smoother. Have you updated to the newest firmware?
y dont u just slam your wii on the ground then take a bat and smash it maybe it well work better lol if not then call nintendo
I wouldn't be worried. On two separate occasions my Wii has started making grinding sounds that made my ears bleed and my heart stop at the thought of going through the process of replacement.
I just turned it off, unplugged it, plugged it back in, and rebooted. Problem solved. The last time that happened was last summer. No problems since, and even when it happened it isn't as though it was screwing up--it was just making that awful noise.
My Wii made some funny noises for awhile. It didn't affect anything, but my warranty was about a month from expiring, so I called Nintendo, and sent my Wii in. Not even a week later I got it back and it's fine. There's a slight hum, but doesn't sound like it's working on its last breath like it sort of did before. I'd recommend going ahead and calling since you're still under warranty. Besides, getting it repaired extends your warranty for another year, so there's no real reason not to do it unless you can't live without your Wii for a week.
note: I don't think it's usual to get it back in a week, but I still don't think it'd take very long unless you have a huge issue.
yea i calld nintendo so maybe itl be better and i hope to get it back b4 ssbb lol
