Guitar Hero Aerosmith to include other bands too?



Since the title of Guitar Hero: Aerosmith was revealed to fans it was made pretty obvious which songs the game would be including...or was it? You would think when looking at the name of the title, due to be released later this year, that its gameplay will be packed full of Aerosmith songs.

The image above shows an ad from Best Buy. Looking closely at the image you will notice that, in the outlined part, the sign says "and all their favourite bands".

Hmmmm...interesting. I think this is great because, unless you are a huge Aerosmith fan, the game would have been pretty boring if you could only play songs by Aerosmith. I'm just hoping that Aerosmith's taste in bands is good!

I'm hoping they listen to Lost Prophets. I would absolutely LOVE to play any Lost Prophets songs on Guitar Hero.

I hope they listen to Black Sabbath, Iron Maiden, AC/DC, MotorHead, Judas Priest, Slayer, Nile, Cannibal Corpse, Queensryche, Marilyn Manson, and Tool

I was playing GH III today and noticed that there's no AC/DC! WTF? How can it be Legends of Rock if they didn't include them and so many others. I'll wait to see who all is on the Aerosmith one before I buy it.

Led Zeppelin. The game was made for them.

I don't remember any Led Zeplin in as well. No Kiss, AC/DC, Led Zeplin, and so many more rock legends not in Legends of Rock... I NEED MORE!

A good place to check is Wikipedia, it has all the bands that influenced that particular bands, that would give a rough idea what to expect in Guitar Hero: Aerosmith.

KISS is in GH:III Legends of Rock, along with Aerosmith.

I'm not getting my hopes up for Led Zeppelin or any other big name in there though. Note the picture says their "favorite bands", not influences. I'm betting it will be a mix of new and old with a possibility of a few good songs.

Yeah, but you get influence from your favorite bands and songs.

Ok, if those bands are in this game then I'd get it. Those are some pretty good ones on there. I doubt Led Zeplin will be in it as well.

I hope this game gets cancelled before its released...

And a game doesn't need to be cancelled because you don't like it. How vain can you be dude?
If you don't like it, don't buy it. It won't make Guitar hero 4 worse.
