Hello Everybody!

Newbie ZeE's here from Europe, at your service! My heart was close to broke as I browsed the forum, and saw the many happy VC users!

I wanna be a VC owner too!

But maybe you can help, becasue on the Wii I own, I wasn't able to download the VC

I have a tested, functional broadband internet connection, and I can use the Internet Channel on Wii, BUT couldn't configure WiiConnect24!!!

I know, first I have to accept the "Agreement/Contact" in the Wii settings, but when this happens, the system prompts me a message:

"Wii Shop Channel and WiiConnect24 sevice is not currently being offered."

What's that supposed to mean? I tried to contact Nintendo Service, but (as I feared) they didn't reply...

Maybe you can give me some advice or links (or Triforces, please just a piece... )

It's possible they were down for maintenance. I just checked myself (I also live in Europe) and it seems to be working fine.

They were being down for weeks, then... Could this problem casued by the console? I bought it second-hand, what if it's illegaly modified? That shouldn't effect the WiiConnect24, right?

I want it too, just as much as you. [/dirty minded old bloke inside me speaking]

It's been fine for me the past few days.

I'm not sure what's wrong then, I suggest you call Nintendo or check their tech support forums: http://techforums.nintendo.com/.
