Nah, I'm sure it's just a fan made thing.
I remember seeing something similar also in GMR magazine when I had my subscription. I don't have any of the magazines anymore so I can't really take a scan of it.
I don't know where you got this from but it has to be at least 3 years old. This was clearly someone's concept of the then-codenamed Revolution aka the Wii.
this is news from 2005...way back when Nintendo called the Wii the Revolution, as GlueGun said. that pictures looks kinda weird though, like it doesnt belong attached to my tv in the living room.
Agrees this is really old stuff. Find us the helmet VC Nintendo system again that was also put on video Wink
Wow, I remember seeing that image ages ago! Toungue

That's the best fan created rendition of what the Revolution was going to be. Everything else is just a few hours on Photoshop to create some typical console with the standardized face buttons and control pad. I admit that controller is a bit cool with the D-pad/control stick replaced with the sensor pad, but it's no match to the Nintendo Revolution helmet.

P.S. These were all made years ago before Nintendo's announcement of what exactly the Revolution/Wii was. Everything you find regarding the Nintendo Revolution system is fan made and completely fake, because the Revolution was the codename for the Wii, and we know what the Wii is.
Remember, ANYTHING you see of a "next gen console" will be fake, ANYTHING.
... at least for another two years. Development on the next-next-gen consoles has probably started already, but it's still very early with very little information about them. Besides, with years left before the next-next-gens, anything anyone says now is almsot certain to change by its actual release.

I dunno, I recall Nintendo and Sony saying somewhere that they wanted their consoles to last for a long time, but maybe Microsoft will jump the gun again and make the 720 in the next 2-3 years.
