There's card games like Culdcept Saga where you have to play to earn the cards, and others like Eye of Judgment where you must go out and purchase them. If card-based videogames are your thing, but buying and sorting through packs isn't, then you'll be interested in the Complete Disc for Eye of Judgement.

Sony will release this Eye of Judgment: Complete Disk in Japan soon. The disk contains 300 cards, which Siliconera says translates into one card from each of the three 100 card sets. It's not clear if this package actually comes with 300 cards; it may just be the card data for in-game use.

I so want to rock Eye of Judgment with all of the cards. Having all of them would win me over. Really, having to purchase cards seperately was a turn-off, so I hope that the US will see some kind of similar release.

Would you buy into Eye of Judgment if you had access to all of the cards?

I've been debating getting the PSEYE with this game, and with this new disc with so many "cards" on it...I might be one step closer.  I just wonder how long it will take to see it anywhere outside of Japan?
Let me warn you before you get in too deep. Try to stay away from games like this. I started playing Magic when it first came out back in 93'. I quit about 4 or 5 years ago and I've spent so much money on the game that I could buy all 3 systems and most of their libraries. These games hook you and you end up spending a lot of money trying to tweak your deck to have that killer combo you must have. Then they add new cards and with it comes a new killer combo that you must have and this cycle continues on and on and your money dwindles and dwindles.
I was sucked into this the moment I seen it. If I had a PS3 I would buy this right away.
as someone who tends to get sucked into the pokemon type of "gotta have em all" thing with collecting...I've avoided this game because I know I'd sink way too much money into it trying to collect all the cards, heck with playing with them...that and I've read some not so flattering reviews, more so than positives.
You won't claim my soul!
I realize this is the type of game you could spend a ton of cash on with buying new cards and such, but what about this disc having 300 cards on it.

I'm wondering if this is one of those moments you hook your printer up to your PS3 and print off cards...?
300 is not that much. It sounds like 1 of each card currently available. It this game is anything like Magic then you can have 4 copies in one deck unless specified otherwise. Then they lay the expansions on it as well. There will be a lot more to come that won't be on this disc. As for the printing you could but the eye wouldn't recognize it I don't think.
You might be totally right Mana, but I think it's cool how they're actually giving us a reason to hook a printer up to the console and use it. The first time I saw printer settings in the menu I was like...what the hell? Wink
Same thing I thought. I wondered what I'd be printing out. I can't think of any game or feature that currently uses the printer though aside from this if it does.

Since you can actually copy Eye of Judgment game cards and use them with the game, this makes the whole experience a lot cheaper.  If anyone can find a site that has all the card for copying and printing let me know.

Oh by the way...The Eye of Judgment with PSEYE pack is $47 on amazon.com
