This is a really funny movie made in 2003 about a Chinese man, bored with his life in China, and decides to move to Ireland. The reason I'm showing you guys is because you probably won't get why he's so confused until about 10 minutes in.
I implore you to watch it! The first 2 or 3 mins. is pretty boring, but it gets funnier. We've watched it in school loads of times and everyone enjoys it. So go on, watch! You'll get to see a non-stereotypical view of my country (for once!) Also, let me know what you thought of it

and eh... Happy St. Patrick's Day? It was a coincidence I swear!
You can't fool me, I've already been shown how Ireland really is...

I can't view it because I'm in Ireland?!?
WTF... anyway, watch my video dude...
When I found out I was irish I also found out I had a reason to hate te lucky charms commercials
Ironic that we don't have Lucky Charms here.
that was a really cool vid.
the vid made me think of 'lost in translation'. slightly similar, but in a more condensed format.

Thanks Greaser
Important Note:
Just to clear up any confusion, "An Gaeltacht" (it's on the sign when the van is driving around the hills) is the name given to a very few rural regions in Ireland which Irish is spoken by 99% of the people. Everywhere else we speak English. We learn Irish in schools but for some reason not many people are any good at it
that was bl00dy brill,
thanks cosmic
and to add to your note, it's because gaelic makes no sence.
slon.
Haha thanks Smokey! And it's "slán"
But thanks for the effort
And trust me, since there is Irish on every roadsign and important building over here, it tends to make sense to us! ^_^
