And the rest...

Both me and Natalie will be armed with cameras and will be taking photos of anything remotely interesting. Ino one member, Sexy_Legs, is already anticipating a scoop on some awesome games. So feel free to give me a list of games you want us to keep a special eye on. Anyways, It's around 9:15 pm while I write this, we will be setting off from Preston at 2:10 am, and we will arrive somewhere around 7am...maybe. Then the event will start at 10 am and finish at 6 pm. Which gives us enough time to get some hardcore gaming in there.

(I bet I can get a snapshot of Natalie making a fool of herself)

See how long the queue for uno is.

That lineup is a quantum leap above the crap E4 offered! Not a single refurbished E3 demo in sight...

and Ghosbusters

Well we set off in an hour, we will be up half of the night playing on PSP' and DS'. I will try my best to get good pictures of the games, I'm not sure about videos, as recording isn't aloud. I may just sneak a video in there...

But If I get any info, then it will be on here sunday. Smile

I don't expect RE5 or Ghostbusters and a few others but nonetheless we wanna see what they're poppin'
Sounds like a lot of fun. When I went to the game show here last month it was way too crowded to enjoy it. Lines were also way too long to wait in to really play anything. The fact that it was Children's day here didn't help either... Looking forward to your pics and info though.

We had the same problem, that place was really packed. Anyways, we are back and completely dead. The trip there took about 7 hours, and I think I had about 2 hours sleep. The reason why is because the bus was packed, and I was sat next to an old women who had the body odour of a skunk and wouldn't stop farting...I felt sick even after the event. I was tired prior to actually setting off so this didn't help.

The event was alot of fun, but we left at around 2:00. We just couldn't handle standing and walking around any longer. It's a real shame because we wanted to stay the whole day. Ghost Busters and RE5 weren't playable though, as Sexy_legs predicted.

I will put the videos and pictures we took and try and mold them together. Because most of the time we didn't film much of the games because it wasn't aloud. We did however walk around generally filming the place. And taking funny pictures (like me lying on the bus sleeping with my mouth wide open)

I will probably go into detail about some games later on, but right now I just don't have the energy. I will say that we had alot of fun and we will be going again. Next time I think we will avoid the MegaBus. They really need better staff. Oh and we were also interviewed for a website. I think it was videogamers.com, we aren't completely sure. Haha. Everytime they asked me a question I repied "erm" because I was so tired. Although one of the questions were "do you know who Phil Harrison is?" and "do you think the Wii is just a gimick". I can't really remember much else.

Soul Calibur is freakin' awesome.
Rock Band looked like so fun!
SEGA Super stars tennis is sweet, it felt very much like Wii sports but better.
De Blob was fun

More detailed stuff later...I must rest.

Some one owes me an apologyToungue

Billy, try and find that interview for usReally Happy

The most important question...DID YOU FIND ME THE DAMN CAR
I found it, but didn't take any photos..

Although I got a video of the car used in ghost busters.

The ecto...yeah, I seen videos of it looked sweet.

By the way...what was actually RE5? a video or what?

It was just a long trailer; but still looked awesome.

As in my sig?

CHRISSSS PUNCHHHHHHHHHHHH

I also don't have much energy now myself, but I'll say what I can say.

The event on the whole was awesome. Just the fact that we were very tired made us enjoy it less, but we still had lots of fun. A lot of people attended; I didn't realise it would be so popular. The games there overall were actually quite good, although it would have been a huge improvement if Nintendo had attended. This way we could have got our hands on Brawl and MarioKart, and maybe would have had the chance to push for a Brawl release date (*wink wink*). Resident Evil 5 and Ghostbusters sadly wern't playable. I'm that tired that I can't even remember parts of it, but I'm sure Prototype wasn't playable either, but it looked interesting. And I was really peed off because the only thing they had for Star Wars Force Unleased was a god damn poster; so I wasn't impressed there. I'll give you some short points on the games I previewed:

  • Rock Band just looked plain awesome!
  • Soul Calibur IV looked amazing - graphics on that were just out of this world (in my opinion)
  • SEGA Superstars Tennis - Not a bad game actually, but becomes repetitive and boring after a while; especially bearing in mind the fact that I only played it for about ten minutes. But the online should be good (Except for Wii obviously because it doesn't have it)
  • Lego Indiana Jones seemed to be quite popular.
  • Kung Fu Panda - I enjoyed playing this! Lol, nah it's not actually too bad for a licensed game
  • Haze - this was very popular and looked like an awesome game
  • of The Bands - This was on Wii and it looked awful. It was like a dumbed down childish version of Rockband; but you only use the Wii remote rather than lots of different instruments. Meh.
  • DeBlob - Didn't get chance to play it but I watched it being played and it looked fun; although THQ's section was horrible.
  • Guitar Hero III - I know it's already out but I had so much fun rocking out on it at the event! I showed off my skills by playing it in front of a crowd for a competition; didn't win though.

When I remember more, I'll let you all know. Will post pics and videos later.
