When I play any game, there is a small amount of black pixels flickering on the bottom left part of the screen. I think they're called dead pixels???

I just recently got a new TV (SDTV to HDTV) but the problem is still happening.

How can I get rid of these?
it is happening on both tvs? I don't think thats a TV problem then.. must be your component/composite cables
Most likely the cables amigo Smile
Alright, it's the cables then. Should I clean them out (how?) or buy a new set?

That's my last resort.
Is there any way to fix or clean the composite cables?
I don't think you can get them fixed. Are they still under warranty? You could try sending them back to the company you bought them from and ask for a refund/replacement. Other than that I don't see any way out of you having to buy new cables.
I can understand it happening just on the CRT, but on the HDTV too, that's weird. well, It must be your cables, I'd go with GFT and grab a set of components anyway, it's much better picture quality

If you just bought an HDTV, unless you're really low on funds, component cables should be your first priority not the last resort.

Also, if you do try and fix your existing cables, your warranty on em will be null and void. And you'd run the risk of messing up your TV, and I'm sure that wouldn't be good.
Good lord for the price Monoprice has the cables for what would you even dick around trying to fix the old ones?
Alright, I just looked at the price cables from MonoPrice.
I guess I'll be purchasing them.
