How strange is this? It isn't often that North America is the last region to receive a game and for once we may just wind up feeling the pain that PAL gamers are subjected to week after week. Unfortunately (for those sadistic PAL people) that won't be all that likely considering we'll still have Brawl to keep us busy as we wait for Mario Kart Wii to launch on April 27.
The game will ship with Wii Wheel, a round wheel shaped piece of plastic to house your Wii remote while playing Mario Kart. Aside from that it won't serve much of a purpose unless you like challenging yourself while playing Smash Bros. or Twilight Princess. With a 12 player online mode and an incredibly robust
stat tracking system that even comes with its own channel, Mario Kart Wii should be the deepest game in the series thus far and shows that Nintendo may finally be willing to fully open up to online gaming.
