Guitar Hero: Beatles Is Possible

It has always been rumored that a Beatles edition of Guitar Hero has been possible, but now due to some comments made by Sony Music Publishing's executive makes it seem like Guitar Hero: Beatles could definitely be a possibility in the future.

Martin N. Bandier of Sony/ATV (the company who owns the copyrights to the Beatles back catalog)admitted to the Los Angeles Times that, "It's something we have talked about and would like to pursue."

It has always been know that the Beatles songs have been immensely guarded with no access to online music stores like iTunes, but now with their songs being more available (like American Idol for instance), it could be possible for a Beatles edition of Guitar Hero being released. Since Guitar Hero: Aerosmith is being released, another band based Guitar Hero like the Beatles might happen.

I am pleased that they are letting this option open, because I am a huge fan of the Beatles. If this game becomes a reality, I for sure am going to purchase this game.

Good. Lord.

Someone kill the dev team.
You're crazy LMX.

I would buy this in a god damned heart beat. The Beatles rock.
D:

This won't happen. It would fail horribly.
Care to explain why Cosmic?
I am by no means a fan of the Beatles, but I understand why their music is awesomesauce. Why kill the GH dev team?

GH1
GH2
GH: Rock the 80's
GH3
GH: Aerosmith
GH: On Tour
GH: Beatles
GH4

I think that explains it. The franchise will soon die or become one of those "every year" games. Like DBZ.
I agree, they are going a little bit overboard with Guitar Hero. Some people don't know when to stop.
They better be master tracks.
I hate the fact of a Guitar Hero game being focused around just one band. The thing I enjoy most about GH is the range of songs and artists in the game.

That I understand. They are going quite overboard. But yeah, I love the Beatles which is why I wouldn't mind if they made it.

I love the Beatles and would definitely buy it, but the Beatles guitar parts are really, really easy.
Instrumentally the Beatles is WAY too simplistic for a game like GH...
Why can't they just release a package over Xbox Live and make people buy it that way. Atleast then it will be cheaper. And with the Wii, they could just release a budget priced disc. Or Nintendo pull their finger out and give us a harddrive.
i was under the impression that it was actually mr wacco jackson who owned the rights to the beatles back catalog
Instead of realeasing a bunch of expansions.. I mean new games, why not just make this downloadable? I seriously don't feel like paying 70$+ for a few songs and a couple character modles.. times 4.
I'm starting to think this may be the reason they've held out on making downloadable content for the PC version...
*Downloads more customs to make up for it*

They're whoring the franchise more then EA whores... everything they own.
I love the Beatles but I agree it would be better for there to just be a couple of their songs in like Guitar Hero 4. As for it being an every year game, if they just let us download songs and gave us something to download them to then that would be a better option...but it's nintendo so that'll never happen as well all know.

He had to sell them back when he had all his "legal" issues which lead to monetary issues.
