Have you played Super Smash Bros. Brawl so much that you can find no variety in the default stages? Well a recent website launched by IGN may just be your cup of tea.
Known as "Super Smash Bros. World", this site allows users to upload their custom stages created using the Stage Editor in 'Brawl with the intention to share them with the world. Everything is done using very simple, easy-to-follow instructions. All you'll need is a PC internet connection, an SD card and a copy of the game and you're eligible for the use of the site's features. But, as you quite surely guessed, this isn't just so web viewers can stare and smile at your stages, as a download option is available also. The originality on offer is fantastic and allows for the creative flair of the Wii fan base to be freely expressed in a way which can expand the enjoyment of so many 'Brawl players worldwide. This reporter's personal favorite is the "Saffron City N64" stage [pictured].
There is obviously much more to this than just stage swapping, as the site acts as a huge online resource for Smash fans, offering cheats, tips, videos, images, and a community forum.
This is quite a wondrous idea. Having a massive entertainment network such as IGN behind it is just an added bonus. There have of course been websites before this one who have already organized custom stage sharing, but none have come out quite as strong as Super Smash Bros. World, and it looks to stay this way for some time!
