I have a SC D372 Digital Video camera and the usb wire to connect it to the computer. Im on Vista.
How do I get my video from my camera to the computer?

shouldn't a little box pop-up from the taskbar saying something like "Found new hardware"?
Windows Movie maker wont even recognize it.

there is no included software! not in the box, nor the web.

I put one end of the wire into the camrea, one end in the computer, the camera and computer are connected and nothing happens.

Im thinking the best thing I can do I to download some software that will get it on the computer. Any (free) ideas?
Did you press power on the camera after you plugged it in?
also, try a different cable.
and make sure the camera doesn't have to be put into 'connectivity mode' or something
I just found out something.
The camera doesnt support USB. It supports firewire, my computer doesnt have firewire ports. That would cost alot of money, this world hates me.
