This week's virtual console releases gives us a NES offering from Square and a unique sports title from Namco. King's Knight's will have you rescuing a damsel in distress and Powerball is looking to create a sporting hybrid. Will it be saving the fair princess or proving your toughness this week?

King's Knight (NES, 500 Points)
Princess Claire has been kidnapped by an evil dragon from her Kingdom of Izander. Take control of a knight, a monster, a thief, and a wizard in order to rescue her. In this adventure you'll traverse five action packed stages and come across relentless foes. Plan ahead and don't give up because Princess Claire is in dire need of your help.

Powerball (Sega Genesis, 800 Points)
Rugby and football come together and form the Namco's Powerball. This game features eight different teams competing to become the Powerball champion. Carry or Kick the ball across the 100 yard field to score points. Powerball offers up to 2 players in both exhibition and league modes.

I think I've heard of that Powerball game. If it's the one I'm thinking of then it actually looks kinda fun.
