Okay, Brawl has been out for a little bit and I was curious as to how most of you think the tier list will look.
I don't want any "TR4Q" nonsense here.

alright, i think that diddy will be in the high - top tier because he has an amazing recovery (not the best obviously, but its really good), good projectiles (bananas and popgun), great aerial moves, is quick, strong, etc.
also, i think olimar will be mid tier cuz he has the pikmin mindgames, strong moves, but is easily gimped when recovering.
I dont know who will be TOP so I will say high
Toon Link, Snake, Lucas, Marth, Fox, Wolf etc
I'll go ahead and say Pit, Meta, TL and Marth will be high tier. I don't think any real explaination is needed.
Lucario will also be high tier imo. His revenge ability allows him to comeback in matches.
Mario and Zelda should be at least mid tier. They got a real nice buff from melee, Zelda especially.
Well I dont really like Tiers but I luv smash so I think that Marios gonna be Mid tier (maybe high tier due to his edgeguarding down B and overall buffed moveset). Sonic is going to be High tier because of his speed on the ground, his great recovery and his ability to combo. Metaknight will be high tier. Wolf....well he's a powerful character with decent speed. It just depends on who's using him since his recovery is aight but if not used properly he can suck.
I think Olimar will be High or Mid (But close to high). Fox i think is gonna drop a bit. Luigi was buffed very nicely too, so he'll probably High or close to it. Snake will prob be Mid, and Sonic also mid.

I think it's safe to assume that Toon Link will be Top Tier. I also think that Marth will be, and I think it's definitely possible to see Diddy Kong in the Top Tier.
Snake will probably be Mid Tier, MAYBE High, only maybe though.
Toon Link will definitely be up there. As will R.O.B., Ike and Pikachu. Pikachu really improved from Melee. R.O.B. has some of the best aerials in the game and Ike has a high attach strength without being as slow as say Bowser or Dedede
Although I think tiers will be more difficult in this round due to the non-competitive side has appeared with tripping, and the heavy balancing of characters... Ness for mid tier! Despite him being highly improved, I want the satisfaction of kicking a high-ish (maybe) tier character with him. Many lulz.
I could see Snake higher up in the tier list if people can really learn to master him, which I'm sure they will eventually but he has a huge learning curve.
Sonic is high teir. That is all I know. And Pit.
I dunno about Sonic being high tier, due to his lack of variety in moves his style relies heavily on controlling the pace in the match. I'd say high tier if lucky, otherwise mid tier.

Its true that the characters feel more balanced. However they are still (mostly) different and since every character isn't equally good they aren't perfectly balanced.
Tiers will exist, but the gap between each division will be smaller.
I mean we already know what characters are likely to be good (Marth, Toon Link, Pit, Metaknight, ROB, ect) and that some characters are pretty bad (Yoshi, Donkey Kong, Wario, ect.)
Its just a matter of time.

Yeah, its some stupid thing from Smash Kingdom. But no matter we persevere, I understand why people don't want tiers. But hey, you don't have to follow them and at no point are they forced upon you.
I would have to disagree with you on Wario, lemon. I think he's not excellent, but at least worthy of mid. Some of his moves are laggy, but they're strong too.
EDIT - His aerials are really good also. Similar to Jiggs, but not as floaty.
