Full Version: Extra content in My Life as a King

Feel free to groan anytime now. The extra content in My Life as a King has been somewhat priced, and it doesn't sound good.

If you want extra races like the Yukes, Lilties or Selkies, you will need to be willing to cough up a little extra dough. You can also get additional costumes for Leo and Chancellor Chime, but once again, for a price. Square Enix has not announced the final pricing, but downloadable content falls between 100 – 300 Wii Points ($1 - $3) a piece for each item.

I'm guessing that extra clothes with be on the lower end of the points scale, while recruiting more races might cost a bit more.

Now I don't know about you, but I sure am not pleased with this. Taking real money out of your pocket for virtual outfits doesn't really seem like a way I would like to spend my cash.

I can seeing buying extra gear and stuff if this was an MMO, but unless the extra clothes actually do something (like raise stats) then it sounds like a dress up party more then a game.

Remember when you'd buy a game and get everything for a set price?
Thanks ZeldaFan, you rock! Really Happy
I agree, once I buy a game I expect that to be it. The Pay and Play feature Nintendo are introducing would be OK if they actually modernized their online services. At the moment we cannot search for friends, have voice or even text chat.
One big difference I've noticed between this and other MMOs I play is that the MMOs I play are f2p (free to play) and you have the option of buying additional items for real money (microtransactions). In this case you have to buy the game and then the add-ons. I guess if people can do it for GH or Rock Band then why not for this? It all depends on the price though.
bout the same thing as maplestory.its F2P except for all the little things u can buying optionally
