Yosuke Hayashi, director of the newest game in the Ninja Gaiden franchise, Ninja Gaiden Dragon Sword set up shop for a line of fans waiting to have their copy of the game signed and meet the man himself! The Joystiq team got a chance to speak with Hayashi and they had some very interesting questions for him due to some of the outspoken comments from team Ninja in the past.
Joystiq slipped in a question about a possible sequel for the DS game and Hayashi replied that "there's a very good possibility". However the word on everyone's lips at the Nintendo World Store was Ninja Gaiden Wii according to Hayashi. He mentioned that the fans seemed to want a Wii version and he said himself that is something he is "very interested" in working on. The controls for the Ninja Gaiden on the DS worked wonderfully and there should be no doubt that Team Ninja could make things work on Wii.
So let's get that rumor mill spinning, and hopefully we'll hear more on this soon.

With the controls of No More Heroes I'm sure they could get Ninja Gaiden to work on Wii. They'd have to cut down on the swinging though because Ninja Gaiden can be a button masher and I'd hate to swing as much as you have to hit the buttons. It could work and it could work well if done right though.

No more heroes was a button masher...you only used motion sensing for the finisher.
This makes sense because of the DS version that has been out for a little while now. I'm guessing things like blood and some adult content would be censored, but it could be a great hard core game for the Wii.
Ya that's what I was thinking I hope they leave it as a M game prob be cut down to teen tho oh well
Does an M rating really mean a better game? I had no idea that suddenly gory violence and a higher ESRB rating suddenly affected the quality of a game.

No, I mean Ninja Gaiden is a button masher. I played the demo only but that has you remembering all kinds of button combinations. I think the No More Heroes controls are much better.
