Think back to when the big man himself Reggie promised a big announcement at E3 during the GameTrailers interview and when the developers Factor 5 announced they were making a Wii game well it seems they were indeed linked and we now have confirmation.
Rumours spread quickly around the internet and speculation kept growing that Kid Icarus was making a return due to the games protagonist, Pit, being revived in Brawl and after IGN's Matt dropped many hints during podcasts such as 'Don't worry, it's coming'. However those rumours were wrong as thanks to a leak we now know that the big game is Star Fox!
Earlier today the Factor 5 site updated and under the game section where the 'TBA' block was, there was a Star Fox tab, clicking it lead you to a page with some concept images and information such as 'coming soon 2008', 'Join Fox McCloud and the crew of the Great Fox to save Lylat'. The images showed R.O.B, Fox and Falco. The Fox and Falco designs were very similar to their Brawl counter-parts according to sources. I managed to find a picture of R.O.B before the site fixed the leak,

So if the game is Star Fox, how many people will hold the Wii-mote sideways to play this game? I ask because no one is gonna want to continuously point the Wii-mote at the screen and shoot stuff with it while flying your ship with a nun chuck, because your gonna get dog-ass tired pretty quick.
If you get tired from pointing the Wii Remote at the screen, then you're either really out of shape or sitting too close to your TV. Back up and you can pretty much rest your hands in your lap.
I don't think there is a doubt that they will have a Star Fox game on Wii, It's jus a question of who will make it and when it will come.
