I can't get them to fly ANYWHERE. I faced marth 3 TIMES with different charactors, and he gets me to 300% dmg before the stage even switches, and luigi is just ridiculous, i suck :[
Who do you main as?
If you're having that much trouble then I suggest playing Subspace to unlock them. Then at least you won't have to fight them with the exception of a few characters.
Yea that would be your best bet and put it on the easy setting so when you do have to fight that certain few. The challengers i lost once to were sonic and snake because i wasn't using my characters against them.
well i finally got snake, ness, and marth, but i haven't seen luigi again :[
what level do you put the game on?
I had the same problem.

I did 100 man brawl, then lost to falco.
Subspace is the easier more time consuming way to unlock most characters. Hell, you unlock them once they join your group if I remember correctly.
I got Luigi from classic mode on easy or 22 Brawls which isn't too high to accomplish.
Just bring over some friends and have a Smash Day. You'll unlock all those characters in no time. After so many Brawls a different one will challenge you and you just have to defeat them. Make sure that when they challenge you someone that is playing can beat them. Toungue Some characters you can't get like that though. Wolf for example if I'm not mistaken.
You can unlock all characters through a number of brawls, SSE, or a combination of both, actually.

Wolf just takes the highest number of brawls.
Ok, I see. I'll have to do that myself then to unlock Wolf later. Toungue

Meta or Lucario

Meta Knight is difficult to KO with and Lucario you have to be careful at higher percentages even though you're stronger. Lucario's double team (down special) is very useful, i suggest mastering it.

450 Brawls for Wolf

Com'on guys... go to special brawl, pick a game that is stamina, put the flower on their head, and set their HP to 1. As soon as the match starts, it's over. Just work on cleaning your room or such and keep mashing start. When a challenger pops up, kill him and then resume mashing the start button over and over. Keep both players on Random so that you unlock some stages too. It takes maybe 3 hours from a new save to unlock wolf (and all of the other characters, most of the stages).
I want to get good at brawl (Never really played melee, and only 64 a few times) so I'm guessing I'll just do it the good old fashioned way and try to get some "skills".

*bought a wii yesterday and Brawl today*

Time to eat then get started on my brawling...
Yay Rawr has restored faith in consoles, Brawl like crazy Smile

Lol, I'll have to try this technique since I haven't had a lot of time to play lately.

Exactly why I did it this way. I play so unfrequently that it would take me months to unlock everyone the normal way.
