The DS brain craze with Brain Age might be carrying over to the Wii but this time instead of exercising the mind, this game aims to exercise the body. This information comes courtesy of a report from Bloomberg and as more information comes up it will be covered here. As for details on the game, none are known but it is a possibility that around September more information will be stated. Will this game rival the BrainAge craze? Will just have to wait and see.

In other news, a recent report from Tokyo based investment bank Nikko Citigroup stated that due to a sudden rise in the price of Nintendo stock prices some experts in this matter predict a possibility of a lower than expected Wii launch price. Analyst forecast the possibility of a 19,800 yen price tag which in American dollars translates to a staggering $170. Of course many believe a price this low is more of a dark horse candidate but now a $200 release has become much more likely. This is all great news and may lead to a huge uproar of Wii fans at stores on launch day. Is this yet another possible advantage that Wii has over PS3? Maybe... But come September official details will be announced which include the Wii release date and the Wii price. Cross your fingers Wii fans.

These should have been seperated as two news things. I think this thread is going to be flooded by OMG!! Wii $170!! and Diet Wii games...WTF!!

Seperate them so that it makes more sense...

My thoughts:

$170 in the USA - unlikely, only because of shipping/gas/exchange rates...my prediction has always been USA price=$199.99. Final Answer.

As far as the Diet-Wii games. I think it fits into that other niche market that Nintendo is looking to get into. Good job Nintendo. I remember how much "exercise" I got while playing NES Track and Field. That game kicked butt. If only they could bring that one back somehow. I can forsee some sort of world wide Track and Field game with a running pad and passing the baton is just a motion you make with the Wii mote. It could happen!
