Oldboy - craziest Japanese film i have ever seen. Seriously twisted ending. [subtitles]

Host - Amazing special effects. [subtitles]

Primal Fear - HELLO!!!! EDWARD NORTON. Probably the best twist ending of ALL TIME and the best acting by Edward Norton ever.

American History X - Edward again. Great story about nazi's. Made me cry.

28 Days Later - My favorite movie of all time. One of the greatest soundtracks ever. Dont bother with the sequel...its terrible.

The Mist - Best Stephen King adaptation to date.

i could go on forever.. so i will just stop for now..
Garden State - Really REALLY enjoyed this movie, its not a blockbuster film. Just a small film starring Braff and Portman. But at the same time deals with an interesting issue, which I somewhat relate to.

The Last Kiss - Like the first, small film but really moving and interesting. Mostly because I'm a Braff fanboy as well xD

Lord of the Rings: Return of the King - Really couldn't have asked for more in an epic novel -> epic movie transition. Jackson takes the cake in that area, and keeps running with said cake.

Transformers - Flipping epic. Nothing more needs to be said.

Sweeney Todd - Beautiful musical, deals with an understood concept of revenge. Brilliant art direction and the vocals sound so much more characterised than the Broadway (as is expected)
Pirates of the Carribean- Those movies are just so entertaining with action, plus tons of humor
Ooh yes Sweeney Todd.
And i must check out those Braff movies, I dont think I have ever seen a movie of his.
They are enjoyable, at least I thought so. Which is why I'm determined to see "The Ex" at SOME point.
The station agent - Great film, lesser known but well worth the watch.
Grave of the Fireflies.

In a nutshell:
It is a great film. An emotional journey with one of the best endings in animated history. Definitely worth checking out.
19 Blocks-Acting by Mos Deff and Bruce Willis was excellent.

28 Days Later and Weeks Later- The Feeling of hopelessness during the movie was awesome.

Freedom Writers-Great movie. Really did a good job lookin into the youth of East L.A.

Although i may not look like an anime fan I have a few favorites.

The Inuyasha movies series- I have to admit. Im an Inuyasha fan.Have watched since the first episode. My favorite would be the very first one The love that transcends time . Only because the art style is closest to the origial series. I also like the others alot.Other favorites would be...

-Princess Mononoke-Just...F*cking epic. Incredible Movie.
-Spirited Away-Loved the feel of the scenario of a Whole new world.
-Kiki's Delivery Service-What?! I liked the movie. >_>"
And there are a few others also.
Laputa :3
Since of my fav movies being gangsta movies this should be interesting

boyz in tha hood- favorite..too good
new jack city- Wesley snipes is way2dark for his own good
Juice- 2pac is evil!
Learn on Me - Freaking Awesome

Some one likes every ones favourite muscle bound greatest accent ever guy from a place no one cares about who is in a lot of action films and now is on the road to becoming the most powerful man on earth and declare war on everyone.

Don't forget Bruce Campell.
Let me give you all a little culture. Wink
For story:
The Seven Samurai (Japanese epic, Kurosawa's best)

For acting:
M (Peter Lorre)
It's a Wonderful Life (Jimmy Stewart)

For cinematic history:
Citizen Kane (Advanced direction/effects by leaps and bounds)

For the abstract:
The Seventh Seal
2001: A Space Odyssey

For animation:
Akira

For good wholesome macho fun:
The Good, the Bad, and the Ugly
I can only imagine how moviegoers were freaking out at 2001 back in the day. Those effects in the ship are still impressive...
