Gyrostar is esscentially a throwback to old arcade space shooters. The looks fun and as some nice graphics, kind of like an F-Zero with weapons. High Voltage are the makers of Leisure Suit Larry and Harvey Birdman and are also working on a Wii exclusive FPS.

This game is looking pretty sweet, and it'll be a launch title which is great. It seems like the North American WiiWare launch is going to outdo the Japanese launch by miles.
Price was announced at 700 Points. not bad for something like this.

I don't know if Nintendo has announced a date for WiiWare in the PAL regions, but 700 Wii Points isn't bad at all.

High Voltage strike again with a game I am extremely excited for. Hopefully it'll top super start soldier, my all time favourite shmup.

The game I mentioned was a TurbpGrafX shooter (super star soldier) which I rate higher SSR
But it looks a lot like audiosurf which is good.
Oh ok,The only two mode thing in SSR doesn'r make it seem like a great purchase anyway.

5 Minute Modes and 2 Minutes modes are great quick fun especially for a score based shooter like this.
But people who like 5, 2 and a normal game mode should check out some of the TG16 shooters.
Bleh, in the long run the launch of WiiWare was lame, so I didn't buy a points card.

I got a friend to gift me lost winds and I got the dr mario demo and that's where my investments ended. Once Gyrostarr is out I'll buy that and go for more VC games with the remaining 2300 points.
