Things I want:
-KH3 info
-Gameplay footage of all 3 XIII titles
-Some sort of SEnix Wii game that has some effort put into it. (Speaking of which, what happend to Crystal Chronicles?)
-DQIX info
-New Wii ip (This is a stretch)
Their next classic remake
Gameplay of the XIII games are possible, especially if there was already gameplay of XIII and VS-XIII on show at the party.
A new Wii IP would be good, given that it doesn't suck out loud like CC.

Wasn't V GBA remaked?
i want that psp bundle

They should just skip V. You see... the Final Fantasy series works in increments of 3.
III, VI, IX, and XII are considered good games because they offer something new, yet cater to the old FF recipe. These titles aren't ground-breaking and their fanboys are usually stubborn elitists that bluff most of the time they talk and don't like the "ground-breaking" titles. Fans of these games are usually people who liked SquareSoft and wish everything went back to those days, even if they've never seen those days.
I, IV, VII, X, and XIII are the one's considered ground-breaking because of their usual jump in technology being the first game on a new system. These titles usually divert from the classic FF formula and their fanboys don't like any game outside of the one they adore unless it's a remake, they're also usually the most annoying fanboys. Fans of these games are usually first time FF players trying out the series for the first time on their new console.
II, V, VIII, and X-2/XI are the one's that suck. I included both X-2 and XI because technically X-2 came first so it is the successor yet XI is the next "official" iteration in the series. Who cares though? They suck. They don't have fanboys because you have to be a good game to have a fanboy following. Their fans are usually lost souls who don't know what a good FF is, and argue valid points with lame opinions.
Regardless of what class you fall under or if you even fall under a class just remember one thing, FFIX is the best.
hahah yeah right kid
Versus XIII? Lmfao right? Final Fantasy for me has gotten old after X. I see no need in making another after another.
NEEDS MOAR KINGDOM HEARTS
What? There are so many things wrong with that game, it's unbelievable. Let's start with the plot... Who is Ultimecia and why was she brought up at the last second with a horrible backstory?

Versus will be a great game judging on what we currently we have. A FF story with combat that allows AC style battles. They can pull it off.

My first FF game was actually FF-IV, and yet FF-VII is my favourite game. I do not detest stuff outside of the formula (I loved XII's system, I just hated all the main characters except Bash and Baltheir/Fran and the Star Wars storyline).
I dunno what caused you to go with a generalisation such as this. Unless you can provide fact of it happening.
Relatively true, those games are pretty bad. But VIII is the best of the crapper games.

But at least we know where you stand. Who could look past Zidane the Super Saiyan and Kuja the ambiguous manwoman.

That in no way tackled what I said. FF may be getting old. But RE will go down that road soon, look at RE5. OMG its simply the RE4 system with a some prettier graphics and a couple of new characters whacked in there. Animations and such all look like RE4 crap, they even felt the need to bring back the chainsaw lunatic. Seriously, Capcom. RE4 was so good because its system was unique, recycling it almost to the point where its nearly exactly the same won't make a difference. Square have learnt from there past games which is why it'll be interesting to see what system FF-XIII uses.
And FYI, I don't really care if you reply to this.

Of course it's a generalization! My whole post is a generalization. -_-

When asked which FF was the best/their favorite, these were the responses.

FFVII was the first FF game i ever played and the first i played on a PS. Best frickin' game ever!!!! I've loved all the ones since, even a bit of x-2, lol. So far from what i understand those shots of FFVII for the ps3 were just to show off the system, and there is no real plans for it as of yet.

My fav is FFVII... It was the 1st ever RPG i played, and it changed the way i looked at games. I liked FFIX and FFX also, and FFVI was an awesome old-school RPG.

FF7. It was the first FF I played, and the next FF seems me boring, a pale shadow from FF7.

FFVII is my favorite game of all time. It's just amazing. FFVI is good too, but I like FFVII better...maybe because it was my first? I'm not sure.

I'll start out by saying I'm probably considered an FF7 fanboy by definition. It started six years ago; every time I visited my friend's house, he or his brother would be playing FF7. I soon learned just how long the game is. I had never encountered a game that required so many hours of play to complete, even though it took me 3 years to finish Super Mario World. (Hey, I was really young then...) Well, a lot of things got me immediately hooked on FF7. The futuristic theme, the music!!, the smooth gameplay, the hairstyles, Tifa, the Turks, the fact that it was my first RPG... It was my new favorite game of all time. And that was before I played it all the way through.

I think that's enough. Definitely check out this last fanboy. :p
True, true.
But at least we know where you stand. Who could look past Zidane the Super Saiyan and Kuja the ambiguous manwoman.

It's cool though. The FFIX hate is welcome. :p
As for the "Super Saiyen Zidane" it's called a trance. Like most FF games before it, there was an Overlimit/LimitBreak/etc. and that's IX's version of it. To make fun of that is like making fun of all the other "power-ups". As for the tranny Kuja I admit, that was gay. It was weird and still makes me feel awkward but hell, it makes him even more creepy. Plus, he could still kick Seph's ass. :p
Before you say anything, yes he could. It's the common consensus that (throwing the plot and hereos aside) in terms of raw power the order of strength is.
1) Ultimecia (She bends time and space at will)
2) Kefka (He was a rapist, plain and simple)
3) Kuja (He destroyed an entire planet in his Trance form without much effort at all, and then he has another form after that)
4) Sephiroth (He brought a planet to its knees, borderline dessimating it, and never shows signs of fatigue)
I'm not including Exdeath because FFV's plot was retarded. His true form was a tree for ****'s sake.

FF got old quick and I dont care what anybody says. XII on the other hand was great with its new combat system BUT still old. After playing FF7 about 1 time I knew right then and there FF was done for. Just cant wait for FFXXXVIII
and no Resident Evil can never get old just look at what they did to RE4 the polished the damn thing off and it worked nicely, I cannot wait to get my hands on RE5 even though its CAMERA ANGLE is just like Re4. the Co-Op should shine innit

RE5 is just 4 apart from you can play as that second character and you're in a hot and bright place so your eyes adjust etc.
RE12 will probably still be this, or a copy of the next ground-breaking RE game (God knows when that'll come)
When it boils down to it, your opinion is that FF is stale and RE is not. My opinion is that BOTH games are going stale, and while you would agree with the FF one you'd deny the RE one... and well, that's just not a good sign for you.
RE5 Looks like RE4 just with better graphics its true.
