Whoever said that british comedy doesnt travel across the pond, hasnt been watching these little gems.
Of course, the Office is the best of the bunch, and it christmas special will go down as the best series finale ever in my mind.
But I just finished Spaced, a hilarious seinfeldian sitcom starring Simon Pegg of Shaun of the Dead fame (one the eps. actually served as inspiration to make the film) and it was a great series. Think I need to pick up the DVD.
That Mitchell and Webb Look is really good, maybe even better than their previous Peepshow.
I love the Trailer Park Boys, but its not for everyone.
I just wish their were more series, it seems to take them forever to get over here (except for Graham Norton, we get those right away) and the BBC must be incredibly cheap, because these shows last a couple seasons and then poof they are gone.
BTW, I purposely left off the old classics like monty python and fawlty towers, wanting instead to focus on the newer (this decade) stuff.
So, any other fans, which ones do you like, and what am I missing?
