personally I thought the wii wheel was going to be really good, seeing how fun excite truck was but to be honest I can't stand it at all, so i've been using the wiimote+nunchuck and it feels so much more natural to me.

Using the GCN control, for once again it is superior.

hmm I haven't even tried the GC.. or the classic for that matter, maybe i'll try it out

by the way, when racing online what is the point of some people having that wii wheel logo by their name? does Nintendo think people should feel special for using that lame wheel..?

And why are some gold?

I use the nunchuck - wiimote combo.
I havent even tried the wheel... or the GCN controller.

Gold wheel means they use the wheel a lot.

And yeah, well if you can be good with the wheel I respect you, I frankly hate it. And find the GCN control FAR more responsive.

I haven't tried the GCN controller yet, but I like the wheel, maybe it's just me, but sometimes I can't seem to turn corners well, I'll see how the GCN controller is, but I'll probably just keep using the wheel.

SO far I've only used the wheel, I'll try out the Nunchuck controls tomorrow.

The Wii remote fits into my hands very well, I try and use the nuchuck where I can.

I've tried both and the GCN controller is much better for me to use. I hate using the Wiimote because I feel like I'm not really in control. I don't want to "waggle" to do a stunt. I'm fine just pressing a direction on the GCN controller instead.

LOL I was the exact opposite. I thought the wii wheel was retarded and figured I'd toss it aside shortly after trying it. To my surprise I found using the wheel added a little bit to the experience and definitely to the fun factor. By no means am I delirious enough to believe I have more control with the wheel, and I'm guessing I'll have to switch to a controller in order to beat 150cc. My response time using the wheel is slightly more than if I'd use a controller (i.e. turning the wheel 90 degrees takes longer than moving a stick 1/2 an inch).

I still haven't tried a controller or nunchuk set-up. Unless I'm unlocking something, I play for fun. Using the wheel is a blast imo.

I guess it's official, I'm no longer a hard-core gamer as I am sacrificing control for fun.

I hate even looking at my GCN controller for new games. I want to go forwards.. not backwards :[
