I have been pretty busy the last week or two with finals and lots of studying...I haven't even touched a WiiMote in over a week (sad, I know). I have been reading good things AND bad things about Mario Kart. Some say it was made too much for casual gamers, while others say it is the same style as its old counterparts. I loved MK64 by the way, such a fun game.
You guys seem to have played it a good amount so...IS IT WORTH IT?
I say yes, but don't expect anything special.
It's Mario Kart, and it rules!
I love, online is better than Brawl's in terms of it not lagging up.(When servers aren't flooded). This is my first kart game since MK64, but some methods for unlocking characters are ridiculous.
Yes, the things you have to do to unlock characters are ridiculous, but overall MKWii an improvement over MK64. If you loved MK64, you'll love MKWii. Plus the online is better than Brawl's (as mentioned).
I'd say definitely.

the online is great, 12 player races are so much better than 4 like on MKDS
some methods for unlocking characters are ridiculous.
Like what?
If you want to actually play a Wii game online then YES. If you liked the previous versions of Mario Kart then YES. If you want to play with twelve people at the same time for one hectic and fun but sometimes very frustrating game then YES!
Well...I guess I gotta get it now
dang straight u gotta get it
its a must buy
some methods for unlocking characters are ridiculous.
