In a comparison of upcoming 1st party release schedules in US and Japan, perhaps the good ole USA gets the edge in better big name titles:
The United States:
Mario Kart Wii - April 27, 2008
Wii Fit - May 19, 2008
Mario Super Sluggers - 2008
Japan:
Disaster: Day of Crisis - July 3, 2008
Wii Music - 2008
Animal Crossing - 2008
Kirby - 2008

what do you think? who got the better line up and why?
Kirby and Animal crossing aren't official, they are just titles expected to be coming out.
yeah it does look like a speculative/unconfirmed list, but just for discussion purposes...

Ah geez, I dunno, I like Kirby, and D: DoC, but I also like MKWii, but not too fond of Wii Fit or Wii music, I'm gonna go with neither, but I don't agree with 360/PS3, I still like Nintendo, it's just that I can't decide.
Animal Crossing!!!!!!!! Japan wins.
yeah, i think animal crossing is going to be huge, wonder when we get it over here
Japan destroys, just for the speculative titles.
If this were official, then Japan's list dominates the American one.
i think it all depends on how great wii fit is...i believe it will be friggin great and lmx well...i am gonna predict he doesnt
Naturally. But even if it is "frggin' great" Animal Crossing just interests me more, especially if it ends up being an MMO. Pure win if that by some miracle ends up being true.
hadnt heard the mmo possibility, that is rad
of course i am still going with wii fit
I would probably conisder getting the board itself if something really interesting is revealed at E3, but otherwise I remain offside for the time being.
Although its tempting launch price nearly had me. Since I figured I'd need the board eventually and it would probably end up being cheaper in the long run to get it bundled, however I was tight on funds this week, so I passed.
The reason why Japan really wins this is because Mario Kart and Wii Fit are both already out there so even though it looks great that we're getting them, they already have.
Japan's release list totally dominates the US. D: DoC and Wii Music are enough to thrash the US, IMHO.
I'm pretty interested in Kirby, can't wait for that.
the last three US (brawl, galaxy, metroid) releases crushed both lists
