Michael Phelps is now a very well known face at the Bejing Olympics. Although he’s an absolute fish in the water, one stroke always gives him trouble and that stroke is the 100m breaststroke.
So how did he beat longtime rival Brendan Hansen? With Mario and Sonic at the Olympic Games of course.

"See, Mario does the breaststroke," he recently told Yomiuri Sports. "And thus, it's perfect mental training for envisioning the actual Olympic hall."

That’s…interesting. I guess the plumber can add another thing to his carrear list. An Olympic coach.

So by waggling his arms around in Mario and Sonic at the Olympic Games it helped him learn how to waggle his arms around in the pool as well... Um, ...I've got nothing.
I'm doubtful.
if i had a dollar for everytime i heard how someone trains with wii, or how the wii is used in some senior center or hospital
Usually I wouldn't care about this, but it's Michael Phelps so it's win.
I wouldn't doubt it.
Phelps can win gold and break records essentially blind like in the 200 Butterfly race, so anything is possible.
