OK, I have to admit. Not even I thought we'd actually get another podcast done after that last atrocity we called a podcast but it seems like we built a head of steam and went from there. Once again it is Dume and I (oddly enough our real names are absent from this podcast) discussing pretty much whatever we found interesting, except that things sound much better now and won't drive you to stabbing forks in your ears.
This time around we discuss Mario Kart yet again, except this time we've both had some time with the game and are actually able to let you know what we think of it and the wheel. You also may have noticed
WiiLoaded's pick for Game of the Month in April and as expected it was met with a bit of controversy. We discuss the reasoning behind the pick and more importantly the reason why Mario Kart Wii did not win. Moving on from there we touch upon many subjects such as external Wii flash memory, Nintendo's WiFi plans, WiiWare, and more.
The one disappointing aspect to the whole podcast was only the lack of email we received. Not a single email came in and we're hoping to fix that for next time so
send us something (podcast@wiiloaded.com). We really wanted to keep this podcast short but things snowballed out of control and we came close to hitting the one hour mark but didn't really go that far. And yes, if you pick it up I know I said "High Voltage Games" instead of "High Voltage Software"; my mistake.
P.S: Make sure you listen all the way to the end.

A much better Podcast than your last effort. The quality was decent and for the majority of the time you stayed on topic and it flowed. I still think you have a Camel fetish. Good job you two!

This one was much better and cleared than the previous one. Oh yeah, and I didn't lose my hearing either.
I was there in spirit, other then Kindy messing up the pronunciation of Animales De La Muerte it was awesome

Haha that was funny
Dume read my C-c-c-combo breaker!
yeey!
but guys overall, that was a nice podcast, I enjoyed listening to it. You guys kept me entertained for an hour!
We try.
And, no, that may not be me singing.

I don't think I have as much to say as I did last time, because I just spilled it all, but anyways good quality, sounds like you two are in the same room.
^-- that was a sarcastic comment
I agree with, I'm not sure if it was you or Dume who liked the Wii wheel, but it does work, perfectly, and about drifting the wrong way, I've had that happen in MKDS as well, so it doesn't matter, and it doesn't happen that often either. And to be honest, I haven't played MKWii with the GC controller ONCE!
I don't know if it'll go well with any other Wii racing games, I haven't played NFS with it yet because, obviously, I've been playing Mario Kart. People, might use it for that Wii Ware gme, but I'm not sure, could work, but it's different from Mario Kart.
Yea, MKWii online, the first time I played it, is awesome, I also like how you can see where your opponents are from. And I bet my Wii could withstand my weight XD.
I think in terms off how much is going on in the game, Brawl wins. Yea, strategy out the window for sure, but still fun. Yea, because of online Brawl just isn't as popular as we thought it would be.
The MKWii channel was a really good idea, an upgrade from MKDSs online searching, very awesome. Yea, an FCs are just, you know, live with it, but I used that invite Wii friends, and that was a good idea too, but Nintendo online will NEVER be as good as XBL.
And Pay and play, I agree, probably only DC. Even though it wasn't by much, Wii online is definitely an upgrade from DS. And even though Mario Kart Wii is now Casual Kart, isn't everything else casual as well? Mostly because of items, yea, just luck. MK 64 FTL, very simple too.
Good transition there, (Iwata) Yea, a small percentage my a$$. I still think I have memory, but it's getting up there, but I have a 2 GB SD card. Are you able to use USB keyboard yet? Yea, they need a fast-forward rewind option for replays in Brawl.
Yea, Disaster will hopefuly be awesome. But where is Project HAMMER? Yea, they have screen shots and a Japan release. Melee online? Woooooooo. Weird.
I will bet you Kindrik, because I'm Canadian, 4000 Wii points. And the Conduit? Best looking game? Hopefully, could be the beginning of good third party support. Yea, it's good for Wii
Okami is one of those games that I will get, eventually. OK, The World Ends With U, I really should get this game, I seen gameplay, it looks so cool. OMG, Viva pinnate from hell, with little kids, I have a feeling I wanna get it.
Anyways, I'm gonna shut up, cause thats all I'll say, I listened to the whole thing though if that makes you feel better.
Sorry I couldn't send a voice mail thing, don't got a mic or headset yet.
great cast, not sure if i agree about the 'lack' of straegy in MK Wii, i've been playing split screen online with my nephew and our stragey's keep us both in the top 3 places, the two player wifi spitscreen is fantastic.
tho i must admit the stategies involve me hanging back and stocking up on a good pick up for the last lap.
Exactly, there is 2nd place strategy in MKWii.
But even then the strategy can be beaten by CPU in the lower end getting a good item and knocking you right back down. Mario Kart's strategy is nothing to get excited about, it IS a party game. There is little skill involved in it now.
I am in the party believing Brawl's online has A LOT more going on that Mario Kart's. However, it must be remembered that team probably developed Mario Kart DS' online, therefore are experienced. This was Sora's first lash at it, and it may have been somewhat of a failure in the long run but I could care less because I play it more locally than online anyway.
Local FTW. Although, I haven't been playing Brawl lately because of Mario Kart's superb online and lack of friends over, since it isn't the weekend.
And WEWY.
