SEGA has announced that they are in development of a new house of the dead exclusively for the Wii. The game is built from the ground up for Nintendo's little white box and will feature crisp graphics and a presentation inspired by the movie Grindhouse. It's being developed by Headstrong Games (formerly Kuju, the developer of Batallion Wars 1&2)

In the title, you'll play as famous series hero Special Agent G on his first assignment. Fresh out of the AMS academy, G finds himself teamed with hard-boiled Detective Washington. When the two go to investigate a series of disappearances in small-town Louisiana, they soon discover that "blood-soaked mutant depravity" lurks in the streets and swamps of Bayou City.
Very nice. Sega does seem serious about giving the hardcore gamer what they want and they seemed to have delivered. Im digging the old school grindhouse feel of the game.
This is what sega needs. Alone they cant really give out good games.
example: Shadow the hedgehog, Sonic 360.
But they seem to be getting their franchises together and collaborating with other companies such as Bioware and now Headstrong games.
This is a much needed step in the right direction for sega.
And they are definitely going for the male crowd wit that promo of the girl licking and rubbing against the Wiimote, but it should be good if the same team that developed the two Batallion Wars.
Hmm. So their new game was a House of the Dead game? As cool as the trailer looks, it seems like it'll play like Umbrella Chronicles. And I didn't like that game, so I'll probably skip this. Mostly because I feel rail shooters are arcade games.
Well the Wii does a pretty good job of replicating the arcade shooter series. Personally I thought that UC wasn't that bad. Though I was playing with my friend and we're both RE fanatics.
