Battlefront game!?
That's right, from the makers of Star Wars Battlefront comes the new Lord of the Rings game. Basically, imagine Star Wars: Battlefront only in the Lord of the Rings universe...yeah. XD Anyways, here's an
interview IGN took, 5 pages long. It's quality.

It's actually far along. It's being released this year and the interview reveals a lot about the game.
Meh. I played one of the other ones [or..other one?] and it was sort of IMPOSSIBLE TO BEAT AT ONE POINT. Hopefully this ones better.

Firstly, LOTR >>>>>>> SW. But that's not what this topic is about. This news is pretty cool, the LOTR games never quite touched on the magic of the movies or the books but maybe this one will at least be fun for an extended period.

I played one the the LOTR games for Ps2.
It reminds me of a PC game that looked a little bit like assassins creed and oblivion....I can't really remember what it was called though...

well ill definately rent it, and if it is somewhat like battlefront then i'll buy it but i just dont think it will be as good. and that LOTR>SW comment was a pretty good joke
Can't help it. I enjoy movies with better script and even better novels (oh and half the LOTR team can out-act the retards in SW any day... but hey, that's from my view as an actor as well)
Anyway, this game will be awesome. I'm seriously picking it up for my PS3 as soon as I can.
I'll probably have buyers remorse, but this sounds like a game that'll have fun online.
Ok, Wenis and Hossen, this game IS Battlefront. It's just in the LOTR universe. Oh and LOTR compltely destroys SW. Star Wars is cool but nothing compared to LOTR.
I'll definitely be picking this up on launch day. :3
well its not BATTLEFRONT, its just Pandemic's sequal to SWBF2. Battlefront 3 is inevitably being made by Free Radical right now, I say that because right when Pandemic and Lucasarts split up, LA teamed up with free radical, and pretty much (if not every) free radical game is a shooter so I dont see them working on KOTOR or something like that
oh and also just check out the sales numbers from star wars movies. all i need to say is MULTI-BILLION

this LOTR is a 3rd person shooter. or 3rd person fighter I guess if you play with a sword..

Star Wars has 6 movies AND has been out for nearly 20 years (the old ones at least) and then the new ones added to that.
LOTR has been out for not even 10 years. So keep the "OMG SW MADE MOAR MONEY" bs to yourself. We're getting off topic.
