After two months of waiting North America will finally be getting WiiWare. WiiWare titles will be released on Mondays just like Virtual Console titles. Developers big and small have contributed to the launch of the service and will continue to do so in the future. Anticipated titles such as Gyrostarr, Dr. Mario Onine RX, and Pokemon Farm will not be available at launch but should be arriving in the near future. Until then these six titles are ready for you to download. It may also be worth mentioning that with the launch of WiiWare, Nintendo will not be releasing any new Virtual Console titles this week.

Final Fantasy Chrystal Chronicles: My Life as a King (1500 Wii Points)
My Life as a King takes the Final Fantasy Crystal Chronicles series into a new direction. In this title you play as a king and must build a kingdom for your followers. In RPG form, you will collect more materials to build your kingdom and use what you acquire to keep your people happy. This will be the first Wii game to use Nintendo's Pay to Play service and it will allow you to purchase downloadable content.

LostWinds (1000 Wii Points)
LostWinds takes platforming in a new direction with being controlled with the Wii remote. Help Toku create tornadoes, gusts, and more to combat enemies and solve puzzles. Use the nunckuck to move Toku around and the Wiimote to help him jump and glide. LostWinds even allows for a friend to join in and help with wind control.

TV Show King (1000 Wii Points)
TV Game Show King brings the fun of a game show right into the comfort of your home. Within six categories there are over 3,000 questions. Have your family and friends join in on the fun and win some great prizes.

Pop (700 Wii Points)
The title explains it all as you will be popping bubbles nonstop to score while trying to beat the clock. You can choose to play by just popping bubbles or you can perfect your timing to create combos for a higher score. Pop can be played with up to three of your friends.

V.I.P. Casino: Blackjack (700 Wii Points)
High Voltage's first WiiWare title out of its three attempts is V.I.P Casino: Blackjack. This game recreates the Las Vegas scene so you can feel like you are actually there. Will luck be on your side to increase you payout or will it be leaving the casino with empty pockets*.
No real gambling is involved as far as we know.

Defend your Castle (500 Wii Points)
You may recognize this game as the very popular internet flash game and it comes to WiiWare with a few changes. Defend Your Castle's visual style has changed and has you protecting your ground against invaders. The longer you last the more power ups and weapons you will receive.
I'm personally sold on Crystal Chronicles right now, along with a few other WiiWare games coming out soon.
i'd like to see some simpler games for like 100 points just to give us some bargains,

maybe some day
Yeah. I dont have that much cassshhh
plus i have 200 points just sitting there
I've gone out and gotten my 2000 points card already and it's just waiting for FF tomorrow.
My Life As A King, Dr. Mario and Gyrostarr are the ones I *know* I'm getting.

I'm fighting the temptation of Tetris.

But otherwise I'll wait and see how this thing goes.
Nothing interests me right now, I'll see how people make of My Life As King.
I don't have enough points to get anything, and if I did I want Pokemon Puzzle league..and FFCC doesn't look that good ;p..or is it just the CC name on it.
LostWinds looks kinda cool. I don't know about FFCC. I may end up purchasing it. But where's Gyrostarr? Huge disappointment not to see this on the launch list...
It will come eventually. If not next week then I'm pretty sure it will be there the week after next.
Some of the prices are a lot steeper than I thought they'd be. Some of them sound interesting be unfortunately there is no way to get the cards or points for the VC or WiiWare over here...
The TV Show and blackjack seem over priced. Pop is fine since it's online and WFB thinks that Defend Your Castle is a bargain already and they gave it a 9/10.

You buy extras for that much in FFCC

That's a no as well because most places block banks from Thailand as the government is retarded with imposing ridiculous fees for whatever they can. It's ok though. I'll learn to leave with it or what until we "get it" over here.

wow, i did not know that, bummer
Anyone get Lostwinds??????? I heard its excellent.
