My controller was on my desk (with the headset plugged in) and I went to get up when I was looking at the TV and just happened to put my hand and pressure on the little plug-in part of the headset (that hooks into the controller) and it snapped the little metal prong lol. This sucks because I don't feel like spending a ton of money at the moment, but need a headset or gaming is boring. So I ordered a Turtle beach off Amazon for $45, but now I won't be getting The force unleashed.
I guess i'll just rent it and try to beat it 100%..
The lamer thing is, is that part of the prong is still inside the controller port, and I can stick the rest of the headset into the controller so the two halves actually connect, and can still hear people chatting, but it doesn't register my voice anymore so I can't talk. I think James (nitemare) jinxed me actually because hes been bugging me to get a turtle beach, so I figured now that mine is broke I might as well get one instead of another cheap one from MS.

I have a bad habit of sitting on them when I'm not paying attention.
Wow. That really sucks. The only problem I've ever had with my Headset is that I lost the little cushiony thing that's on the end of the mic. XD
the wireless headset is quite good, i've sat on that and it's fine, you could just buy a messenger pad, that comes with a headset too and the keypads v usefull.
ive only had one headset break.. or wear out. i had to move the wire around to get it to work properly
Turtlebeach headsets are like US Marines... 100:1 KD you will kill 100 peoples mics before it breaks.
My first headset just randomly stopped working one day for no aparent reason and the new one i bought from Game sucks because it keeps falling off.

The one i got with my Premium 360 always falls off? Gets really annoying after a while. Dont know if its the same type or not. Swap if yer want? hahaa

No i don't think it is if you got it with your 360 bundle, but mine isn't made by microsoft and it slides off my head if i move lol. Guess it's my fault fo being a cheapskate.

Ive been through about, 12 headsets.
on my 13th one once I get wireless headset.
I'm also thinking about getting a wireless one but I've heard they're a pain plus I don't really have the money at the moment.
