Anyway, there is nothing cheap about counters. Hardly anyone uses them anyway (with the exception of Fox/Falco's reflector shields)

not that type of counter, because with Mario's counter you turn around, Fox/Falco's you can only use it very close, or when someone is throwing something at you. With Marth's right when they throw something, and if there close they get hurt. :l
Oh, you mean that Peach's "counter" is used as protection. If not, you're dead wrong.
Ever deflect a rocket with Fox/Falco's shield? Mario/Dr. Mario's cape?
Hell, I can even deflect Samus' fully-charged Charge Shot (B) with Marth/Roy's down+B move. (I can't name it at the top of my head right now).
I believe the move is just called Counter.
But they are all equal in terms of use.
Except Fox and Falco's is REALLY good.
Fox/Falco's is a Reflector. It reflects anything tossed at it. Counter is for psychical attacks like in pokemon.
The concept is similar though, as it sends the attacks back at them.
i like using mario's cape cause it reflects physical attacks as well.
I got hardcore caped at Stage 01.
Just as I had used my recovery I got caped by Markarse. Turned me away from the edge and I died.
