Pikachu has some ace grabs and teh THUNDER!!! Haha, seriously though, he's fast, has some power and some nice techs... PICHU on the other hand... oh boy, his ablility to injure himself is what lets him down most, even though he is really fast and has one of the best Horizontal Smashes in the game.
Who knows what we'll learn at the Wii event and no we don't know how long it'll go. I wouldn't expect much from Brawl... maybe a new trailer, possibly a few confirmed returning characters... and if we're lucky a more solid release bracket... otherwise I wouldn't expect much new.

It means just that, press Up+B button BUT when your pressing up lean it to the right hand side a little bit, then to cancel it rapidly tap the joystick to the left hand side. Thats basically all it means, if you come online later I'll try and show you via webcam.

I dunno, since it runs by Friend Codes then you'll get the choice, but as for a lobby... again... not sure, I believe MP:Hunters had one so SSBB could EASILY have one.

I have a tournament a few hours south of me in January 07' to go to, if I can get there, find a place to stay and come home. Cash pot as well, so that'd be awesome, I'm looking forward to seeing if I can go.
In terms of tournament advantages, Fox would do better than Link because Fox is a stronger character.

Well like i said fox used to be my #1 and im not sure if I just picked a diff character or really changed my best. ^_^
Yeah, its a good idea to be able to play more than one character professionally, that way you have a variety to choose from when actually entering a tournament, when it comes to tourney's you have to pick the character that will be right for it.
For example, I may not actually USE Roy in a tournament as he is a mid-tier while my other characters are all high-tier's (Marth, C. Falcon and Shiek)

No one else is average... well mabye Pichu Link is good and Strong but Super Slow I have never seen anything so slow he almost matches Ganon I hope in Twilight Princess hes faster.
Pichu is pretty bad, I don't know of any pros that use him... especially in pro matches. But there may be one or two.
Link is a tough character to beat, but if you can get in close then he loses his range advantage... just always dodge the double slash, that attack will punish any careless character.

The double slash is devastating, the first hit does enough damage and the second one finishes it off and sends you skyward, allowing Link to follow up with any sort of attack, he has alot of options.
And as for being in the top 25, its possible... we don't know know how many of the pros will continue their smash career into Brawl.

And as for ranking systems, I am praying for one... but its not likely, Sakurai said there wouldn't be but never fear. I'm sure websites will have rankings, like MLG or SmashBoards are highly likely to have rankings systems set up, we can only hope.

Yeah That has happened a lot to me I find it not fair to Edit your OWN poll.
And links 2 Slashs attack is So powerful and if ur not great at the game He can jump and put the Sword upward to kill you.
Actually I think its more dangerous if Link lets you fall downwards then jumps above you and Down Thrusts your ass with the Master Sword. That move also rapes when your damage gets past the 70% mark.
Link has a few moves that destroys opponents, luckily they are easily dodged or interupted. Apart from his stupid Spin Slash... lol I hate being caught in that ESPECIALLY if I am unlucky enough to be hit by the final slash of it.
Yeah I'll find a way to edit it somehow lol.
