i hope WD isnt in Brawl, cause then the online matches will be filled with a bunch of WDing spammers. idk if you guys have seen one of these, but all they do is WD just so they can show they know how to and they dont use it right and yea. its annoying.

but on the plus side cause since they overdo it, they'll tend to mess up. and that will cost them dearly.
and one mistake could cost u the game if ur a good player and have a fast character. or if u have a slow character like bowser.....ur screwed. in my case, i use sheik and she is fast, so she is rdy to kill.

Its just a might. She could possibly stay.. because shes popular. LMXwould be mad because Roy might not come back and a few [alot fo ] of Y Link fans would be mad because he isnt coming back...maybe. WHO NOES?!

if sheik i'll be upset too, but the excitement from the release of the game will over shadow it.
I understand where your coming from about WD Mints, plus Peach doesn't exactly have a great WD anyway so its not necessary to master it with her. As long as you know her other techs your fine.
But there are some characters that, without WD, are at a severe disadvantage.
-Ice Climbers
-Luigi
-Roy
Those are to name a few.
WD > n00bs.
Roy gets raped by everyone, but hell he's fun to play as. He's terrible though so if he goes I'll just main Marth.
In the end I have enough characters to choose from to be happy, plus I've picked a few of the new ones to play. But I would miss Roy, because he is good fun to play.

I've seen ChuDat do it a few times, it is generally used to amplify the power of their combo ability... which on its own is crazy good lol.

Lol its true, thats why out of good sportsmanship it is usually not used in tournaments, and if it is I can imagine those players not being very popular.

WDing is one of the greatest techs ever put into any game. it is used for SO MANY things in melee: edge hoging, mind games, combos, etc.
i dont know why anyone wants WDing NOT to be in Brawl!
you guys made some points though, some character's WD's arent very good and that may be the reason that you dont use it. please dont talk about it bad if u dont use it.
WD has been and always will be a matter of opinion.
There is no arguing against its uses, and they are many. A character like Fox usually doesn't need to WD as his sheer speed makes it very difficult to pull off a perfect WD. But a character like IC can really be helped by WD as I said earlier to link combos.
People only use WD if they are confident they can use it. If there is a chance they could screw it up and they decide to risk using it then really they deserve to lose.
wd'ing is a very interesting topic. i dont use it because im not good at it. i think its kinda cool if u learn how to use and master it so u can defeat ur opponent. it might just go back into the next game because it isnt a glitch and it has to do how u do something a certain way. unless they figure out how to dodge moves in a different was then it might stay.
