[i]How do you make them ?
Make what?
sigs and stuff
Well, Photoshop is necessary, first of all.
We pick a render to work with, and a set of colors we want to use.
There are numerous techniques that different artists use at this point, but the common theme is to make a background for the render, using the colors we chose. Then we use the Photoshop tools to adjust lighting, depth, and other elements. Also, effects might be added by using the pen tool or some other technique.
do you have to download Photoshop ?
Well, there's the option of actually buying it, but nobody does that. It's uncool. Toungue

I'm not going to post where you can get anything illegally, sorry.
If you don't want to be a pirate, and don't want to spend money, I suggest downloading Gimp.

Just google it. Smile
Use Gimp or Paint.net.

I personally love paint.net
Please make your title more specific for easy browsing for others.
And please make your questions more specific as well. ^_^

As other have said: to make sigs people use multiple photo manipulative programs such as photoshop, gimp, paint.net and paintshop pro, etc.

Theres a long list of things to do as making a sig could take from 5 minutes to 3 days to complete depending on what steps you take and which you don't. We'll just say its usually a lot of hard work to get a nice looking sig. :p
I would say Paint.NET for a beginner! Simple learning curve.
You've made me day, excellent:lol:

It's not just a case of 'click this and do that oh there you have it a sig' it's a case of downloading applications, add-ons, being creative and spending time learning and keep going until you can make acceptable sigs.

There is a few programs for you to use, the main ones are GIMP and PS. One is free, the other isn't unless you have one eye and a ship.

There is hundreds upon hundreds of tutorials for this.

You're first sig may look like...

but in a year you could be making...
