Exactly. All this does is make me question their sanity. From penis-thumbs, to rolling eggs, their ads just don't make sense.
I think the folks with the best commericals so far are Microsoft. Their water balloon fight to demonstrate XBL was pretty smart. At least smarter than penis-thumbs.

Why would Sony want to be remembered for having crazy and inappropriate ads? Why not be remembered for having great games, a fantastic system, plenty of exclusive titles, and an outstanding online service? Instead we get to remember what?

...what exactly is the appeal of the picture or the video ad? honestly, it would have made me ignore the ps2 and ps3. why would i want a game system that advertises itself with a penis-thumb? yeah, i'd talk about the ps2/3 when i saw it, but i'd talk about them in disgust "did you see that stupid ad playstation put out recently? i'll avoid the company of penis-thumbs, thank you."
